Thanks for an awesome deal, Constantine. Put on new strings, lowered the action, raised the pup for my playing style, and it just sings. The tone is warm, just as you described, and while I can tell it's not for everyone, it's exactly what I hoped for.

This is a response to Rumblefishers feedback - I've already left positive feedback and I stand by it - he closed the deal, paid when he said he would, and did everything you would want a buyer to do. I'm only addressing comments made about the condition of the bass here.
I take great pains to describe any item I sell here or elsewhere as thoroughly as possible, to offer a description that I would want if I were the buyer. I'm convinced I met or exceeded my standards. There were 14 pictures of the bass on my media page, in the sale thread I directed and requested buyers to look at them. My description was as thorough as I could make it, pointing out the flaws as I saw them (including photographs of said flaws), and indicating that the bass was a player, not necessarily a beauty pageant winner.
From my listing-
"The Bass is an early 2000s vintage wine red/rosewood MIM P-bass. It's got some nicks and scratches. The rout for the pickup is not pretty, that's why I keep it under the pickguard"
"It includes a well worn SKB case that isn't pretty but it protects the bass."
I guess a second pair of eyes will always turn up a few different flaws on any used item. At any rate, I'm glad Rumblefisher is pleased overall with the deal.

LOVE being surprised by the extra switch--did this one come from TB long ago? I see one from Rapisme in NY with a lot of good info on it. Let me know if you remember the guy on Capital who works on Eden stuff. Thanks again!
