This little guy is so cool! I broke it out just this morning to try with a couple of my amps - it sounds amazing with my rumble 40 - just like I would imagine a big hollow body bass would sound through it. It does take a bit of getting used to - the fretboard is so small and the strings are so big! I see what you mean about the stock strings - I'll be checking gout some of those that you recommended once I get a better overall feel for this thing.

Thank you for the nice packing job and fast shipping on this item - I really appreciate it and I'll enjoy playing this Kala UBass a lot - can't wait to show it to the bands I play with.
