I offered to refund your money and buy the bass back from you and you declined

Then decided to sale it to you off talk bass.
speaker arrived a week ago.... I opened the box and there was a noise rattling around inside. There was close to no packing material at all. The speaker took a hit in shipping that sheared the coil for the tweeter right off the back plate... so it was dangling around inside the box. Spoke with Jim Bergantino who offered up a complete fix for less than $200 dollars...
Seller is pointing his finger at shipping company. Shipping company pointing their finger at seller. I am left with a broken speaker. It wasn't until i got really pissed off a week later and demanded that something gets done that seller finally contacted the shipping company ...
really only 2 options here for me here.
a. Wait as long as he needs to wait on fedex before he compensates me anything at all...
b. Take it upon myself to repair the speaker and submit the bill to shipper...
I will comment further upon resolution...
Since the packing job was an absolute joke and fedex is going to laugh when they see it, I decided to let them check it out and just fix it directly through Jim Bergantino. I don't have time to waste while fedex keeps the speaker for an undetermined length of time and refuses the claim....
Conclusion; Issue resolved. Seller did not help resolve issue, so I dealt directly with the shipping company that seller was unjustly blaming for packing the speaker.
