I realize that you made out pretty well on the deal in comparative resale value, 1800 to 1900 for the Lull and 2100 to 2200 for an ABZ 3X, but it was my decision. You had just what I wanted and a good used MV5 is kinda hard to find, so what the hell.

My other Blue ABZ 3X with the P-Tone neck pup does a whole bunch of tones, but it's old school JB tone is kinda, meh. I had the opportunity to play an MV5 at The Bass Club Chicago a few of years ago. I loved the neck, the B string and its JB tone, but at the time was afraid whether or not the 35" scale would bother me. Well after almost three years of Dingwall 37" to 34" fanned frets, the Lull's scale is a piece of cake. Now, between the two basses, I have all the basses covered (pun intended).

Just do me a favor, if you decide to quickly flip the ABZ for a profit, warn me so I'll close my eyes and look away . Enjoy it for a while. Dingwalls are awesome.

Clint went above and beyond just the posted pictures on TB, he sent me several sound clips, videos, and more pictures upon request. And to top that when we both decided this was the deal for both of us he went and had his bass guy set up the bass and added new strings, oiled the neck before shipping to me! In Clint's own words that he wanted, no matter who is dealing with, he wants them to be happy with what they got. I am very happy!

The bass arrived exactly as described in the original posting with no surprises. I would not hesitate for one minute to do business with Clint again if and when then need arises.

Did a sale/trade where I sent some money and pedals to Clintonon for a Warwick. Even though customs took a long time to get the pedals delivered and the same to get my bass home in the DR, we had good communication and a smooth transaction. Would do business again.
