There was a bit of a SNAFU with UPS, and we were able to work it out and get the cabinet to its rightful new owner; Lucca advised me of the issue and we were able to work with UPS to get the cabinet found.
Community and communication are what TalkBass is, and they were critical factors in the success of this sale.

Once again, Lucca was great to deal with - our prior smooth transaction was the only reason I agreed to ship something as large as a speaker cabinet.
The trust we established in our first transaction was put to the test when UPS lost the cabinet! (How the heck do you LOSE a box the size of a small refrigerator?!?!?)
But Lucca kept his cool, let me know what was up, and I was able to contact UPS and the shipping company to initiate a claim.
Thankfully, UPS was able to find the cabinet and Lucca was able to pick it up.
It's easy for everyone to be happy when deals go smoothly, but the trust that's created in our bass-playing community is absolutely essential for when things get bumpy.
I'm happy that I had a great partner in this!

Lucca was great! He asked lots of insightful questions about the amp and I feel reassured that his diligence means the amp is going to work really well for him.
He was fair and realistic when negotiating a price, paid immediately, and PM'ed me to let me know that the amp had arrived safely.

Great interaction: He has a sincere & genuine interest in the details of the item for sale without being a flakey tire-kicker, just really wants to understand how the item fits in with his needs. Reinforces my belief that the TalkBass community is closer-knit ond more straightforward, honest, upfront, and unabashedly friendly than folks on nearly any other web forum or social media site. I'd have a beer with this guy...and I'd trust him to pick up the tab. Or to fight me over who picks up the tab.
