A deal between bearded bassists both named Joseph almost has to go well, so I'm glad this one did. No hassle with price; product shipped quickly; arrived safely packaged, as described, and fully functional. Deal with confidence.

@retrosynth already had a positive feedback score that allowed me to buy with confidence, and I'm happy to add to that positive feedback. I had only done one deal on TalkBass before this one, also with a new user, and while the deal went well and we eventually figured out the "right" way to do it, @retrosynth has this down.

@somebrains will treat you right. The Mesa Buster! 200 1x15 combo I bought from him was everything he said it was, and his reasonable asking price meant we could skip the dance of negotiating and just jam out on all his instruments for an afternoon. Seriously, the sale felt like an afterthought; I mostly think of the sale as hanging out and, well, talking bass. We've kept in touch since the sale and he's been very helpful in getting to know my new-to-me rig. Buy with confidence, but not his Spector; that too shall be mine someday, bwahaha! (Seriously, though, you could buy that Spector and you'd be fine.)
