A.J. was actually fun to work with, and that doesn't happen very often from a seller's perspective. I don't sell gear very often here or elsewhere but when I do, it would be great if all transactions went as smoothly as this one. I will miss the bass but I am pleased that it went to the right buyer.

I was i the process of buying a Mesa TT-800 to replace my D-800. Within a few minutes of placing my ad in the TalkBass Classifieds I received a PM from fellow TB-er Kipp Harrington who expressed an interest in my D-800. After exchanging a few PM's, Kipp purchased the D-800 and I have to say, this was the most pleasurable musical instrument sale I've ever made. Kipp was an absolute pleasure to work with and I hope he will be as pleased with the D-800 as I was.

For the past few years I had been searching for a clean, reasonably priced AVRI Fender Precision in the hard-to-find Fiesta Red color, when I came across this one on the TB Classifieds. The seller posted several photos including detail shots and gave a thorough and honest description along with a very reasonable price. I was surprised that the bass hadn't already sold so I contacted metalloid (aka Joe) to determine if the bass was still available. It was. Since the photos and description were so thorough, I told him that I would take the bass and PayPal'd the funds immediately.
The bass arrived today via FedEx, packed beautifully in an original Fender shipping box. When I opened the case, I was stunned at the pristine condition of the bass. Even the case was in better condition than Joe had indicated in the ad.
I have to say that from my perspective as a buyer, a transaction just doesn't get any better than this.
To say that I am happy is an understatement. Kudos to metalloid (Joe). He should receive the TalkBass Seller of The Year award, should such an award materialize.

It doesn't get any better than this...A great seller, great communication, the cabinet was packaged like it was fine crystal it arrived in the perfect condition as it was described and was shipped lightning fast.
