Double check that the foil shielding is not in contact with positive circuitry before reinstalling the jack and control panel.

Make sure the copper shield is not close to any other positive circuitry, either on the control panel or the jack.

Wrap the two wires so that the uninsulated section of ground wire is securely attached to the shield on the hot wire.

Strip off a bit of insulation on the ground wire and wrap it around he shield on the hot wire.

70s Rickenbacker 4001 and 4003 models. Looking for any info on these bass guitars. Both in great condition, were used for a band in the midwest in the 70s. Let me know prices and any info ya got!

JB Elite (2019) Mods ~60% done
Hard to tell but there's about 20 mods done so far to this USA Elite JB. All the Alperious plates (5 total) are current being worked on as I'm writing this. Will post a ridiculous mod list as a thread once everything's complete (prob 4-8 weeks)
