Brought my Vintage 24 NYC to his shop in summer 2016 while shopping for a WL model. Roger gave it a quick set-up and signed the back of the headstock. When told that I'd owned 7 of his basses (3 still in possession) he "bowed" to me. Then scolded me for not having played this one for a couple of months.
