interesting and artful design, but with such minimal body weight to counter-act the neck and headstock how do you deal with the neck dive?
 
@MEKer Hi - The bass weighs about nine pounds so the balance is still great. You might want to shoot the luthier - Paul Lairat an email. He can explain it much better than I could.

Originally, I thought the bass was going to be pretty light weight (5 pounds) but the weight is the same as a non skeletal bass.
 
Thanks for the information. I would have expected some neck dive to some degree.
As I said, what a very artistic design.
 
Thanks. I think there is some neck dive but it's not drastic. The most balanced bass I had was a Pete Hilton. He worked for Carl Thompson.
