Born in Houston Texas, force fed crappy AM country music growing up, my dad loved Sinatra, but then came the 60's...my first concert was with my dad in 1970 to see Hendrix, hitting underground clubs at the ripe age of 15 to see the Chambers Brothers, Strawberry Alarm Clock and the like, when psychedelic bands were just coming into the light. At $10 bucks a pop for concerts, I saw them all..from Alvin Lee and Alice Cooper to Zappa, ZZ Top and Zeppelin. The music was raw and the vibe was astounding. Moved to Cali in the 80's...attended the US Festival in '83 for New Wave Day. I was a changed man....
