My Seymore Duncan SCPB-1 vintage single coil neck PU has the A pole under the A string is too high, How to fix?

These pickups have a taller A string pole on purpose. "Its a feature, not a bug" as the saying goes.
If you feel that the A string is too buzzy you could probably crank the whole pickup down a little lower without hurting the tone of the other four strings. Give it a try.

Thank you CharlieMac, sorry about the late response. I ground some of it off with my dremel and it is still a little high but yet manageable. I do use the A-string a lot and I can depend on good solid A-string notes. I also have learned a little to watch my dynamics when on the A-string too, I will leave it alone for now on, thanks, bill
