Rickenbackers: '85 mapleglo 4003FL, '79 mapleglo 4001, 2021 jetglo 4003S, Fender: RI 62 Jazz, 2015 Vintage Hot Rod Precision, 2016 Tony Franklin fretless (modded VVT), Gibsons: 1965 EB-3. 1966 EB-2, 2018 Thunderbird with Mike Lull pickups, 1973 EB4-L, 1970 EB3-L, 1970 EB-3, 2021 (22?) non-reverse Thunderbird (on it's way)
Ampegs: 3 SVT heads, 2 late 70's, one early 6146B Blueline head. Two 70's 8 X 10 flat back SVT cabs. 2 B-15T's, 1 late 70's b-15S, one 1959 Bassamp 835, one mid sixties Ampeg B-18, One early 70's V4-B cab, 67 Fender silverface head and 212 large cab, 1967 blackface Fender Dual Showman head, 1970 Marshall Major head.
Favorite Genres
Anything with feeling and some without.
Gigs and Ensembles
fill in gigs with various bands and jams in MA and CT area also in Lima, Peru.
Previously Owned Gear
Have played P basses for many years in the past, Many Ric's, some Gibsons, I've been using Ampeg since 1975 especially SVT's, have owned 3 different B-15's (1 60's, 2 70's) V-4B, and have used many other Ampegs, have also owned Sunn 2000S heads and cabs, a Marshall Major head, Univox amp. Many Fenders, including Bassmans, Bandmasters and a Showman.
G.A.S. List
60's 70's 4001's pre-CBS Sunburst P basses. EB-1, and many other 60's collectable basses and amps.
Influences and Teachers
Duck Dunn, Willie Dixon, James Jamerson, Joe Osborne, Jack Cassidy, Tim Bogart, Paul McCartney (wouldn't be playing bass if it wasn't for him) many, many 50's and 60's guys on both URB and electric, the unsung heroes. (a few of the 70's Ric players) Chuck Rainey, Ray Brown, Pettiford, Chambers, Ron Carter, Mingus, all the James Brown guys, many, many others. I could be here a week if I really sat down to think about it. This could come down to certain riffs, like the bass solo beginning in It's My Life (Animals) or solo in Liar, Liar (Castaways) many many Beatles tunes and on and on.
