Earl

Earl Sauls has developed an original and highly musical approach to the acoustic bass. During a career that has spanned five decades, he has played with some of the all-time jazz greats such as StanGetz, Howard McGhee, Woody Herman, Pepper Adams, Chuck Wayne, Warren Vache and many more. Noted for his fine sound he is also featured on recordings by Joshua Breakstone, Rob Reich, Peter Prisco and many others.

Rodina German 60's plywood bass, Spiro Weich E/A/D, Bel Canto solo A tuned to G. Bassbalsareit pickup, Headway EDM1 or Fdeck, Traynor SB 112 amp.

ELECTRIC: Harley Benton fretless BeatBass with TI Jazz Flats, Hofner Ignition Violin Bass with Pyramid Black nylon strings, Hofner Ignition Club Bass with Pyramid Gold strings. 1972 Fender Precision with black Nylon strings. Traynor SB 122 amp
