    are you a pro builder? i at first assumed since you joined the medicre club that you were a student of the art, like me. But the more I read your posts, the more convinced i am that you have already done all the things that are new to me, and mastered them all.

    Lol, no, not a pro, but an amateur who has built a few, currently working on my 2nd commission. I've absorbed a lot hanging out in the LC.

    I am very impressed. It seems that every turn i make in my journey to becoming a luthier, you have also been through and come to the same conclusions as me. and generally for the same reasons. Thank you for your input on my posts, you help me more than you realize. I value your feedback.

    Hi Jon. Thanks for your comments on the Rick bass I built. As I said, will always grab my Eb's. The on in the pic was one I built a few years ago, but my main bass is a 1973 EB0 that I reconditioned. Just can't beat the EB thump!
