I have a softspot for MIJ stuff - mostly Fujigen made Fender and Ibanez.

I've taken down my list, though, and will probably sell a few things off to whittle down to the keepers, as I'm about to start playing Hammersmith basses almost exclusively. Never heard of Hammersmith? You will.

Too many to list as far as what I listen to, anything with a good rhythm section.

Nothing specific, just trying out different gear. Keeping what I like and trading/selling what I don't - or what gets me the best upgrade :)
Influences and Teachers
Steve Harris, Flea, John Taylor, Gene Simmons, Cliff Burton, Bootsy Collins, Geddy Lee... any number of hardcore punk/thrash bassists from my teenage years... and now this list sadly includes MCA (RIP).
