Influences and Teachers
RB, PC, Mort Herbert, Oscar Pettiford, Scott LeFaro, Ron Carter, Jimmy Garrison, Sam Jones Most good jazz gets to me. Ripper Organ players and the snycopation of New Orleans stlye sousaphone playing are both inspiring bass sounds for me. Dave Miller is currently offering me classical instruction and is funlearn from each week. A 8 week Jazz theory workshop with Dave Scoggin.
