My "gig" is taking photographs of bicycle races for various websites and magazines as a photo-journalist. I travel to these races in an old VW camper and to keep me company when I'm on the road I picked up a lovely little Kala. Then I realized that I enjoyed playing bass so I better learn to do it better. Now I'm looking into what sort of bass player I want to be and what sort of bass would fit that.

The u-bass will still travel with me though... it's perfect for that.
