Like a lot of people I started out on guitar. I played guitar almost exclusively for about 10 years. Then I watched my neighbor play with his band. My neighbor was a bass player, and he was one of those musicians that just has it. He has raw, natural talent practically leaking out of his ears. Hearing his basslines and watching him play inspired me to switch to bass. I sold my guitar, got some bass stuff and haven't looked back. I still play guitar but I am in love with the bass and consider myself a bassist.

- Favorite Genres
- Tool is my favorite band and probably the biggest influence on my playing. I love heavy, punchy, slightly overdriven bass tone. Think Tool, Rage Against The Machine, etc.
- Gigs and Ensembles
- The Foundry is the name of my current band. It's just a few guys from work, we get together once a week and play a few covers. It's mostly for fun, we all have families and work full time. We're trying to tighten up and be ready to play our first show soon.
