Grumpy old man. When I was a kid we used to make our own basses out of bits of half burnt wood we'd found on the tip and copper wire we robbed from the back of the GPO. And those basses we made were much better than the ponsy things that these 'luthiers' put together these days in their 'boutique' workshops with their 'boutique' prices. Give 'em all a taste of the early 70's I say and see how they survive. Bah.
