NOTE: I originally gave this 5 stars, but after 2-3 years of light use, it started randomly feeding back when I would engage it with the footswitch.
Almost every chorus pedal I have messed with, I end up struggling not to have an echo effect in with the chorus. The pedal works great, but until I get a pedal that makes it easy to not have echo when I want chorus, I can't give it five stars. Am I the only one who wants a zero echo option? (The manual explains that with the Feedback control at minimum, you "only" get one echo. So it's not just me.)
With bass, I mainly use the chorus. But I love the vibrato, and use it when I get the chance. With guitar, I would use that a lot more.
I mainly use the triangle waveform, but the square wave is an interesting way to get more extreme.
From the manual: "START UP TIME: The Memory Boy takes approximately 20 Seconds to fully warm up. During this time you will hear the delay time slowly increase for a given DELAY knob setting, especially if the DELAY knob is above 50%. After about 20 Seconds the Memory Boy settles on the delay time set by the DELAY knob." So don't expect it to track immediately after power is applied. No big deal, just know that's how it works.
