Fdeck Hpf-pre Series 3

These are great units made by a talk bass member. If you have an older amp without a HPF you want one of these. It cleans up the low end and gets rid of rumble and mud, nobody need lower than 30hz in their tone. I had it at the end of my pedal board so any huge low end boosts like on a flange were tamed down. The price was reasonable as I remember and if amps did not come with them currently I would still have it on my board.

I use the FDeck (Francis Deck) HPF III all of the time. Literally. It removes the mud and boom from my bass tone, regardless of room dynamics. It saves my speakers from over-excursion. It is likely the best audio-related purchase I have ever made. Thanks, Francis!

This does a great job as a high pass filter taming the low B. The volume control is also a nice touch. The Series 3 adds a 9vDC connector so you don’t have to use a battery as with previous models. Solid construction with volume control and filter settings from 35-140Hz.
