1962 Fender Jazz Bass Sonic Blue (refin)
This August 1962 neck date Jazz Bass has seen some action. Marks of countless playing hours usually indicate a great playing and sounding instrument and it is definitely true for this one. Albeit this being a keeper, I splurged and bought another 1962...

I'm selling my beloved 1962 American Reissue Fender Jazz bass from the mid 80's. I bought it in 1999 and had it converted to fretless by the Italian luthier Bruno Traverso, who did an absolutely impeccable job and the fretboard looks beautiful to this day, also helped by the fact that I have...

Hi all,
I’m sure this has been talked to death, so if somebody can link me to a thread that already has this info, please post it.
I’m wanting to swap out my stock early 90s MIM jazz back pickups for something that gives me the best early 60s sound. Has anybody done the sound comparison and...

Hi folks,
I have been offered this bass and I am wondering if it is an authentic 1962 Fender P? I have attached pictures. It all seems period correct (apart from wrong label and refinished hardware, added pickup and all that jazz) but I'm not an expert on these things. Been modded like crazy...
Got this amazing bass from a college senior. It took a long time to prepare the money, and it took a long time to persuade him because he didn't want to sell it.
The affection for this bass is so different that I thought it was an instrument that I would have forever. However, I need to sell...

Putting this 1962 Gibson EB-3 up for sale. Prefer to keep this local to Southern California, but I can ship, that cost would have to be calculated.
I'll be straight, she's no case queen. When I received the bass, there was a pre-existing headstock repair. It's not particularly pretty, but it's...

Up for grabs is a 1999 Fender Jaco Pastorius Signature Fretless Jazz Bass. This bass is in amazing shape for being 21 years old. This bass is a very nice replica of a 1962 Jazz Bass. It plays perfectly, sounds amazing, and has zero issues other that minor cosmetic dings and scratches in the...

Just came in today. Scored this off of reverb. 2006-2007 CIJ PB62. I threw it on the bench and put CTS pots, switchcraft jack, orange cap, shielded everything, Fender Vintage bridge, tort guard, and tug bar. Came with Fender Flats, but I restrung it with TI’s. Can’t wait to gig her this weekend.
I already owned a hofner ignition bass and I was thinking of upgrading my hofner to a Germany made hofner. I have 2 choices, the 500/1 1964 or the 1962 “mersey” I really like the 1964 version because of the binding on the neck but I really want to know is there a sound difference between the two...
