I have a bass equipped with a pair of super doubles, and an obp3. The pickups sound great in mids and lows, but are lacking in the highs. I’m using the recommended 250k pots, but I was wondering if anyone has tried these pickups with 500k pots (or something else), and what the results were.
I would like to replace the stock humbucker on my Squire Jaguar H in hopes of getting a more brighter tone.
Definitely want to stay passive and looking for drop in replacement.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Most of my basses have different strings and I've noticed that the loss of initial brightness varies wildly from one set to another. Thankfully, I don't really mind dead strings at all but I wanted to know what you guys thought the strings were that are most prone to this. I feel like GHS...
