identify bass strings

    What are these?

    I loaned a friend my 5 string and when he gave it back he put a new set of strings on it, but doesn't remember what they are. They are stainless steel round wounds with alternating black and light blue string ends on the bridge. I'm thinking maybe d'Adarrio. Anyone have an idea what they are?

    I have been listening to a lot of Ovidiu lately and he gets such a nice crunch to his tone. Do any of you know what brand they were?

    Could any experts help me identify this brand of strings?

    I've had these strings on my bass for a couple of years now, and I'd like to purchase a fresh set. I've inlcuded some photos. They're black flat wounds that have a coating on them, and the felts on either end are dark purple/black. Any help is greatly appreciated!
