    What strings came stock on Fender basses in the 60s? Labellas or Fender Flatwounds?

    I am turning my MIM Player Series P-Bass into a 60s style one with the chrome covers and everything! One problem, I want find the strings that were stock and from the factory on the old fender basses in the 60s. Were they Labellas or Fender flatwounds?
