    Optima: Gold vs. Unique vs. Maxiflex?

    Is anyone able to explain the differences? (Maybe Maxiflex = round core instead of hex?) From what I can tell, the Optima website can’t be bothered to offer any distinctions.

    New strings day!!!

    Got some new strings from optima today. RB Flatwounds and 24k Gold rounds. I've had the Unique Golds before, but these ones are the standards. I think the unique are brighter, but these ones feel so much better,and sound perfect to me.
