Hi all, Wondering about cleaners that I can use for fingerboard and body of instrument, I used Dunlop Orchestral 65 for a couple of years but recently ran out. Problem is, every 'instrument polish' such as the Kolstein kit or likewise seem to just be tiny and expensive, so I was wondering about...

La Bellas have a lovely polished finish. Chromes are a bit more matte. Firstly, would it be possible to polish by hand a set of Chromes? Secondly, what effect might it make on the tone? Yes, this is just dumb curiosity on my part. But I'd love to know the answers :rolleyes:
