Overdrive pedal creates LOUD signal noise when paired with my Chorus pedal

I just got a new chorus pedal (MXR Chorus Deluxe) and when I tried it out with my overdrive (EHX Glove OD) this very loud signal comes through my amp. I noticed this only happens when I engage the overdrive pedal in some way. The overdrive comes before the chorus in my signal chain. I bought...

Ampeg SVT-CL Troubleshooting resonance crackling issue

Hello bass amp heads, I bought my SVT in basically new condition from a friend who barely used it, and now after about a year I've started to encounter some issues that I'm hoping to fix myself. I first started noticing a problem about a month or two ago, where occasionally playing a C on the...

Recording Dry & Wet signal with Darkglass A-O Photon & USB interface

    Tone pedal troubleshooting

I have an MXR Pre-amp that when turned off, has a weak signal coming out of the amp, but when engaged sounds completely normal. Anyone had the same problem before? It’s the only pedal I run through my amp at the moment, I’ve tried different cables, 9Vs, different amps. I feel like it has to do...

    Music Man Bongo Signal Problems

I just want to know if this is a problem with all Bongo Basses or just mine. So it started around the end of August when I was just playing somewhere and I go to plug in and I notice that there's no signal going to the amp so I figured that the battery's in it must be dead. So when I get home, I...

Does it matter which pickup is in series with which when connecting 2 pickups in series?

As the title says, does it matter if you connect the neck pickup in series with the bridge pickup or you do it the other way around? As in, does it matter if you connect the neck ground to the bridge hot or the bridge ground to the neck hot?
