    Looking for the right string gauges to be able to work anywhere between Drop F and A standard.

    I have a dingwall ng-3 and all the bands I play in range from Drop F# to A standard. Currently on .130-.45 string set which works well for A standard but pretty bad for f#. any tips?

    String Gauge for DGCF Tuning?

    Hi all, I want to tune a 4 string bass to Low D, and am thinking perhaps that a heavier gauge is a reasonable idea. Maybe the neighborhood of 110 for the low D... Thoughts and maybe some info on who produces a 4 string set would be enthusiastically pored over, thanks for your time.
