Selling my Mesa 6x10 traditional powerhouse bass cab (rated at 900w/4ohms)
This is a sealed 610 that hits just as good if not better than an Ampeg 8x10 made in USA with void-free birch construction
I was very surprised with how short and compact it is.
Cab is in stellar condition, kick back...

Traditional medium tension 4 string set (NS610) for NS Design electric upright bass. Used on one gig and had them on for about a day or two. They sound great but they are a little stiff for these electric bass playing hands. Price is shipped in the US 48 states.

(In your opinions)
So, the role of the bass guitar is something that seems to be a debated topic. Obviously there isn't ONE SET ROLE for an instrument with as much range and versatility as the bass, but I'd like to hear TB's opinion on the role of their instrument.
I'm most interested on what...
Hi. Hello. Yes, I'm a first-timer so my account is new but this question has been nagging me a bit. I'm a fairly "out there" player, I like to be up front and I practice hours upon hours every day. People love it, except a few other bass players. My friend has also caught crap for his 6 stringer...
So I posted a fairly active thread here a day or so ago. It got heated, and I admit that I made myself sound fairly arrogant, but it got me thinking. What's the deal with this traditional mindset that I personally feel is so incredibly self-defeating?
Not even talking about my thread in...
I have a 2016 LesPaul Traditional for sale. Great condition with just a couple dings here and there. 57 classic pups. Honey burst in color. Case and all case candy.
Has had a couple inlays that have started to lift up high in the upper register. Nothing big but wanted to note that.
$1450...

First off, this is thread is a potentially loaded gun.
If you can not responded respectfully, please don't cause a problem here.
The reason I post is that I was offered an opinion that I had never considered and wonder if it represented a great number of the folks on this board.
Many (myself...
I for one am really thrilled by the new MIJ series from Fender. The basses look very cool (and relatively affordable) and I'm excited to finally be able to purchase a Mustang in pink with the phase switching on it. But why the lack of hype from Fender about this series? I almost didn't notice...
I just saw these for the first time yesterday - sort of like the MIM Classic Series (traditional) and the American Original Series (Hybrid)
I am not sure who is building the current MIJ Fenders - but I like the looks of that Hybrid Series 50s P - the only reason my MIM 50s was moved on was...
Hello Talk Bass community!:):):) I'll be building a double bass and posting my process here. My plan in for a Busetto corner bass, maybe a 5 string, with an eagle head scroll. I'll try to do this with mostly local and reclaimed woods (New Jersey). I've built a non-traditional, coffin-esque...
I know before the Jazz it has to be a P of course , but after the Jazz came out I was curious which might have got the most use , iam talking Buck Owens , Haggard , Ray Price , George Jones kind of country stuff through the 60,s maybe early 70,s . Thanks .
Dogal Jaco Flatwound Review (Pics Added)
As documented in the thread linked above, I recently picked up a set of Dogal Jaco Flatwounds and slapped them on my main P Bass for a spin. I was so impressed with them that I decided to get a set of Dogal’s other flats, their Traditional Vintage set...
This is the rig I thought I would keep forever. But with no band, gigs,or anything on the horizon, I see no need in keeping this matched set. So lets find her a new home. Mesa M6 Carbine, super easy to get a great usable tone. I usually just had the bass knob at about 1:00 and everything else...

The Traditional Bass Set is constructed and tensioned similarly to acoustic bass strings for a warm tone and great bow response. Medium tension, designed to fit NS Double Basses and NSDB-Standard instruments. New, never installed on instrument in individual envelopes. $50 shipped to CONUS only...

Hi all,
I've loved old Ibanezes since I picked up my first early 80's Roadstar II 20 years ago.
I'd wanted a Blazer for a while, so when I saw this up for sale at a discounted price, I had to get it... partly because I wanted a Blazer, and partly because I couldn't stand what I knew was a...
Fender Japan came with new series called "Made in Japan Traditional". New colors are introduced. The serial numbers are now found at the back of the headstock.
Here are some photos.

Up for sale is my Mesa Boogie Traditional PowerHouse 6x10 bass cabinet. $600 cash or Venmo firm. It includes the cover. Local pick up only.
It is in great condition. There are only a couple surface dings. Sounds freaking awesome! The best Mesa Boogie cabinet I've ever heard!

I am reluctantly selling one of my Mesa Boogie 4x10 cabs. It is in near-perfect condition and has only been gigged maybe four times. I am selling because I want to go lighter, as this cab is very heavy. Cover included. I'm asking $700 and would prefer local pickup in the Houston/Southeast...

...just what the title says. Looking for a Jazz Bas pickguard with a split-coil P rout that's where you'd find it on a P-Bass. I know I've seen some Sadowsky P/J basses with the guard extended a bit to cover the pickup, but this guard is for an MIM Fender body.
Thanks in advance!
Hey guys...
Thinking about purchasing two new 410 cabs from Mesa and found they have the Traditional and the heavier Powerhouse 410 cabs.
Does anyone know what the difference might be in sound? I like the Traditional due to it being
less weight and a nicer price, as well.
Any insight on...
Dean Stylist Hollow Body in Gloss Natural with the traditional F holes. Like the Cabbie in 32-inch scale, but not the checkered and yellow version. Looking for the older gloss natural version.
