uniforms

As a kid in the 1970s, I remember Bill Monroe's band, among others' bands, wearing suits while playing their set. Besides the Earls of Leceister, do bands still wear suits/uniforms while performing in concert at bluegrass shows?

If the majority of your fellow bandmates elect to wear uniforms live, how would feel about it? I would do it for the sake af the project, but I would silently be upset; especially if we look like a bunch of kooks onstage. I mean let's get real, who wears uniforms? (Now if I was on a calispso...
