This one is a gem. It is a 2009 China-made Classic Vibe 50's Precision. To me it looks like the original owner Aged the Scratch Plate & screws. The rest of the bass is an easy 8/10 condition. It's lightweight too. I'll post the exact amount later today.
I am keeping this local NJ/Eastern PA for...
The recent ugly amp thread got me thinking about gear aesthetics, and what gear that we talkbassers own primarily for their looks. This can be anything; amps, cabs, basses, they’re all welcome!
I have a rarely used since I bought it new last year 2019 Squier Classic Vibe jazz bass.

I have this and a MIC Classic Vibe Precision I might trade for something.

I’ve got a Squier Classic Vibe Jazz up for sale, or trade. I bought her new a few months ago to try a Jazz. Still has the hang tag and plastic on it. I’m just feeling my Precision more. I’m open to even trades or trades plus cash from me for another Precision. All offers are welcome...

I am extremely interested to know how the Shin-Ei Vibe Bro (or the original Uni-Vibe) sounds on Bass Guitar. No effect I have ever heard sounds the same as the original Uni-Vibe except for the Vibe Bro, not even the Vibe 2. Maybe it's the increased headroom from the high wattage ac converted...
Hey Guys,
I was checking Fender's website last night and noticed the 70's Jazz Bass is no longer listed as an option. In light of this and GAS'ing for one, I'm reconsidering my options for my next bass. I know that the Squier Classic Vibe is a fan favorite, but I have a few questions for...
A few weeks ago I preordered a bass that I had been GASing for since my High School days.
On Wednesday I got the email saying it had arrived and on Saturday my better half and I made the trip to bring it home.
Forgive me if this question has already been discussed but, I’ve fleetingly seen a comment as to whether the new Squier Classic Vibe range of basses are, in fact, re-badged VM instruments. I owned a Classic Vibe precision from the original run from around 2009-10 and it was a superb bass in all...
Just got this. Upon getting it, gave her a thorough looking over. Good build quality and assembly, straight neck, decent (not, stellar) fretwork, crap hardware.
Some additional detail....
Finish and paint work, excellent. Tight neck pocket. Pretty level frets, but I found two which needed...
Right now, as today, these basses, the "1st gen" ones (made from 2006-2014 as far as I am concerned, all of them having the-sadly-gone rosewood fingerboard, and also the 70s P model with the all maple neck maybe...), are pretty 'young', and I'm sure everybody is fine and happy with the finish...
Hello, I want something inexpensive to have as a backup, instead of always having to take a second one of my regular basses. I have tried the Classic Vibe at a store and it seems usable. How would the G&L tribute compare? Impossible to try one here.
Fwiw, I play mostly Sadowsky metro basses, but...
This little beauty was delivered yesterday from Sweetwater. It's strung with NPS .045-.105 gauge round wound strings and comes with Fender designed alnico split-coil pickups. The body is poplar with a maple neck and Indian Laurel fret board. I have a set of Fender '62 pickups but as good as...
Hey folks. I picked up a lovely blue classic vibe 50s precision from letgo yesterday. And neck is great, all looks good, but low low pickup output (yeah, something’s wrong) and scratchy connection. So, since I have a Duncan single coil replacement in a box here, I’m wondering if I should swap...
Took the other half to make a sweet P bass with a jazz neck, and slapped the other half together to make this - a squier classic vibe 60s jazz body with a Matt Freeman precision neck! These are touted as two of the best squier basses ever produced and rightfully so. The body is also loaded with...

This bass was given to me for a Christmas present but I prefer split coil P basses. This bass was taken out of the box where I gave it a proper setup. Maybe played it twice. Plastic still on the pickguard. It is just about new as you can get.
For trades I am primarily looking for P basses...

Killer bass at any price, but I just took delivery of a Roadworn Dirnt that I prefer and don't need more than one P in the stable; studio usage only, essentially still in like new condition, and under 8lbs even with the bridge cover.
Bass is pictured with a KSM Foundation but now has the...

Great quality bass here, folks. Solid 4-string, nice looking, and feels great. One very small indentation above the pickup (see picture), otherwise mint condition.
Bass will come shipped in either a Fender gigbag FB620 (included in the price).
Trade interests: 4-string JAZZ basses (Fender...

Classic Vibe P bass in sonic blue. In really solid shape, a little buckle rash and a few spots of finish wear but overall nice. The input jack is a bit scratchy but that's the only mechanical issue. All original except the added tort pickguard, I do have the white one it came with as well. Plays...

Hi guys!
First thing I would like to emphasize here just for the records is that as much as it may look just like one of those 70’s fenders relic’ed by playing and time
THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL AMERICAN FENDER PRECISION BASS.
That been said let’s gonna do this
UP FOR SALE
is my beloved FENDER...
