Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a bit of advice on my 73' Jazz Bass. I've had it/gigged with it for a couple of years now, and after the most recent fret dressing, it's very evident that there's next to nothing left, the frets nearly meet the lacquer I'm in Virginia, and I was wondering if there...
This bass is all original. Though the volume pot has been replaced, and I have replaced the crappy original pickup with a high quality drop in replacement model made by Aero Instruments. It has 4 pole pieces to properly read the strings and a hotter output.

Here is a recently set up all original Fender V from 1965/66. It is by far the best sounding one I’ve played, and it does have some wear on it. Strung a low B instead of the high C. Comes with period hard shell case. I think it is the original one but cannot confirm.

My question for 70's fender p bass owners is :
Who may have a very resonant 70's P and if so how...
Hey everyone,
I've reading up on Pre CBS fender basses and in paricular, Fender Jazz basses.
I have two 1964 basses and it occurred to me that I have no idea how many were made.
Does anyone know roughly how many were produced - either by year, or in total - between 1960 - 1965...?
Thanks in...
