    I have a BT100 crate amp and wonder how to adjust it to create a lower/deeper tone

    I want to lower the tone, to sort of a grungier sound but I'm not sure what to adjust on the amp to make it sound like that, I have tried different combinations of settings but it's not working, also are there any pedals/effects i could buy to increase the sound to how I would like it?

    Getting that early 70s Stevie Wonder sound

    My Boss SYB-3 just doesn't cut it for that Living For The City kind of sound and track well, or at least I don't have a good setting for it that does. That pedal is pretty old, surely the technology has improved since then. Any suggestions? If there is a thread on this please post it here.
