2021 Bass Northwest (Cascadia) Gear & Beer Get-Together is on! August 15th

It's on, folks

Mark your calendars: Sunday, August 15th 12-5pm at Aurora Borealis in Shoreline, WA.
Open to all bassists (and the partners who foolishly care for them) throughout the Cascadia region, from Oregon up through British Columbia. And I mean, if someone wants to come down from Alaska, well - by our guest!

Never been to one? Bring gear you'd like to display and/or share with other bass players, or just come to enjoy the wide gamut of gear porn. Eat (the food there is excellent), drink (so are the beers and full bar), and mingle! That's it. No cost, no hoops, just hang. We've got the whole upstairs of the place to ourselves!

I'm also working on scheduling short, ~15 min solo performances every 45 mins or so, through a separate donated house rig. And envisioning a separate vocals/full range rig as well, for singing, tracks, etc. All you'd need to do is head to that station, plug in, and do your thing. So if you'd like to be considered for one of those slots, please get in touch with me here or at [email protected]! It'd be great to have some representation from Portland and Vancouver, as well.

Last post & reminder - event is this Sunday, August 15th! There will be at least one up and coming local (WA) builder there, almost a dozen of virtually the same exact bass with different Bartolini pickups to hear and find the right coil configs for you, incredible performances - but mostly the great folks of the bass world and a lot of their cool/unique/interesting/fun gear to check out!! Aaaand, really, really good food and drinks at a killer venue with parking (thank you Aurora Borealis!).
