4-band eq vs 3-band w/ mid frequency sweep?

Which one do you think is more practical/useful, especially for switching between sounds live?

I haven't tried a 4 band but I have several basses with 3 band + mid sweep, it's my favorite configuration.

I'm usually quite happy with a 3 band EQ, bass being centered around or under 80Hz, the mids around 500-700Hz, and the highs around 3-5KHz. I mostly cut frequencies, but sometimes may boost a touch of bass.
A sweepable mid can really help dial in tones in detail. Sometimes cuts and boosts around 250-300Hz can be really powerful.

Three band sweepable EQ for sure. I've tried a few amps with 4 band EQ. I haven't found that the extra mid control was much more useful than a standard 3 band EQ.

Sweep. Every time.

I prefer a sweep unless I just absolutely know which mid frequencies are going to be the best ones to adjust on a particular bass. You can't generalize. Being able to adjust say, 800 Hz, on one bass might be perfect but less than optimal on another.
