Active Bartolini pickups
OHSC
No markings on the body or neck
Neck plate serial number 30046

Estimated value? Mfr date?

I popped the neck and there’s nothing in the neck cavity or on the butt of the neck

Yes, ESP of Japan set up 48th St. in the early '80s to function as their stateside custom shop. It was staffed with Japanese craftsmen, and build quality was reportedly very good. I haven't seen any info on the s/n system they used, but maybe ESP has some production records?

I acquired an older ESP model. How can I find out what year my guitar was built?
You are welcome to e-mail [email protected] with pictures, description of your guitar and a serial number, but unfortunately we cannot date every guitar and only have limited records of older models.
