I heard there was a lot of buzz at the 2017 NAMM show about the J-Ferro basses.
I'm not easily impressed, but I am impressed by the tone
of the 6 string J-Ferro!

They have an anti-bass solo feature built in- go to the upper registers and the lower horn will scrape the skin off of your knuckles.

That being said, that reasoning wouldn't apply to most people as, in addition to having thin hands, Janek is one of the most technically skilled bassists that's ever lived. He could probably play Giant Steps on a bass made of nails without pricking a finger

I love that narrow spacing. Really is great for right hand speed. Ive never had issues slapping on narrow strings so its a win win for me.

I realize your comment was a joke but self-admittedly, I am a clumsy person. I imagine I would probably catch myself there at least a few times.
