First of all, let me introduce myself. I'm new in TB forums, from Brazil and I play in a local bluegrass group called Conjunto Bluegrass Porto-Alegrense (you can search for us in youtube for some music videos).
One time, I don't remember exactly when, we were playing in a theater somewhere in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The show was very good, the local people came to talk to us, buy some CDs, that kind of thing. The curious fact was that a man and his 5 year old son came to me saying something like this: "hi, my son loved your instrument and he would like to know what are the two notes you have played during the concert". My band mates were near, heard what the man said, laughed very loud and, since then, every concert they tell this story to the audience. It's not that hard to be a bluegrass bassist after all.
