12 or so years ago I attended a Steve Lawson Bass Clinic near San Jose, CA. There were many amazing basses brought to that get-together. I played a few Wals, some other crazy stuff, and even though I have (for 30 years now) been a 4 string guy, there was this Celinder there that I picked up and just loved. I've since watched it trade hands a few times, never when I had the funds........ Well, I found it for sale again, and while I wait for my Fretless 73 Pbass to sell, I pulled the trigger...... should arrive early next week. Not sure I'll know what to do with the extra string, but I would imagine I'll figure something out! .....

Funny. I was at that same clinic. That Celinder is a sweet bass! Score.

A bit of unsolicited advice: If you can, force yourself not to play your other basses for a week at least, while you concentrate on playing five strings.

yep... I remember meeting you. I have been playing strictly with the 5er each day after work...it's a trip but I think I will get the hang of it...this bass has an amazing sound... best I have ever played....it's pretty insane
