Hey all,
This may not be possible with pedals, but if someone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it! I'm trying to figure out a way to run two independent effects chains output to one amp.

The first chain would have my Ditto Looper and Zoom MS-60B. The second chain would have my Diamond BCP-1 comp, MXR bass chorus deluxe, overdrive, into Two Notes Le Bass pre.

What's in each chain I guess doesn't really matter, but here's what I'd like to accomplish.

I want to be able to record/playback looped parts with the Ditto run through the MS-60B and play accompanying parts through my second effects chain ending with two different effected signals playing through one amp.

Possible with pedals, if so which pedal(s) will do the trick? Or, is two complete bass amps/rigs the only solution? Or some other method? Not sure I did a great job of explaining what I'm after.

Thanks for any help!

Appreciate the reply. OK, I'm an idiot.

1) Put Ditto looper at END of effects chain;
2) Turn on whichever effect I want to record loop with;
3) Record loop with that specific effect;
4) Turn off that effect;
5) Play an accompanying part dry or with any other combination of effects;
6) Win!

I had my ditto at the beginning of my effect chain. It took a sudden and painful "Aha" moment to realize I had set it up wrong.

This thread may now be banished to whatever form of death it may require.

Anything that will let you sum the two branches back into one signal will do it - LS-2 or other loop blender, an ABY switch, etc.

EDIT I just saw your realization. Still, the above will work for anyone who *does* want to set up that way =0)
