A question about my Squier Affinity PJ

I'm quite new to bass guitar in general, but I've played electric guitar for quite a while. Could someone tell me which know does what? I'm guessing it's volume for each pickup and a master tone, but I don't know which knob does what. Thanks in advance.

It should be volume, volume, tone.

The knob closest to the neck controls the volume of the pickup that's closer to the neck (split coil/pbass pickup). The middle knob controls the volume of the pickup that's closer to the bridge (single coil/jbass pickup). The knob closest to the bridge is the tone knob.

All of this is assuming that no one previously screwed with the wiring.
