Aguilar pickups and EMG pre amp?

i have a bass with EMG pickups and Aguilar pre... Not sure if it's possible but I'm getting a new bass and I'm thinking of putting aguilar pickups and EMG pre

Is it possible?

Don't see any reason why not. Just make sure to use an EMG setup that's OK for passive pickups. The "System" units from EMG are wired up with pot values for their active pickups only. Just avoid the "system" ones and you're golden. ^^
