'Aguilar Pickups and Mike Pope Flexcore Preamp '

Looking for a few opinions on if any bassist has ran this combination in any of your basses. Let me know when you have a free moment.

Janek Gwizdala has this setup in his Fodera. It sounds really good to me. The Flexcore has a distinct sound characteristic, but it is not as present with the Aguilars as with the usual SD dual coils that come in a Fodera. I like this combo better than with an OBP-3 or Bart preamp. The Pope has a dryer mid range that really brings out the mids in the Aguilars.
