Hello sir! I bought the latest Drumhead mag with Bill Bruford on the cover, and it has a brief interview with you about your time in his band. I was most intrigued by the recollections of the late Allan Holdsworth. IMO his playing is absolutely sublime, yet he seems to have been rather shy if not self-deprecating, perhaps even to a fault. Bruford mentions that this became a sticky point within the band. Allan would absolutely slay a set at some university but he would be all down-trodden after, despite positive feedback from the rest of the band (and crowd). I'm really interested as to your recollections and thoughts regarding this, and if there are any analogs in your experience to Allan. Thank you so much!
