Hello
I play a Taylor Mini-bass (TMB) over Classical Music back tracks emulating the sound of a Double Bass for small to medium sized events both indoor and out.
My signal chain: TMB > Fishman Pro Platinum EQ > Ampeg Classic Preamp > QSC K12.2.
I chose the TMB because it sounded the closest to a Double Bass when compared to the other Bass Guitars I auditioned.
I currently run the Back Tracks to a Fishman SA220 and the TMB to a QSC K12.2 in Bass Amp mode.
After auditioning the K12.2 and the Traynor SB-112 and finding them more suited for an electric Bass Guitar, I longed for my Ampeg BA 115 which sadly, long ago hit the Classifieds.
Can anyone suggest a Combo Bass Amp for me?
