Ampeg SVT 350H - INTERMITENT LOUD WHITE NOISE

So more issues with my head, different form the last time I posted, I turn my head on, and at first it seems that everything is fine, but after a few minutes (sometimes only takes about 1 minute) a loud hissing almost white noise sound starts to come out of the speakers. I still have my bass signal, can still play but It's really annoying and I'm just wondering why it could be doing this. This is a solid state head btw.
I may post a video of it tonight if that might help.

Any incite as to why this might be happening would help.

Let me be the first to suggest cleaning the effects loop jacks (and maybe the power and pre jacks too) with some deOxit. You probably already knew that though, sorry

Don’t use too much. A drop on a Q Tip is all you should need.

 

[B-string]

Effects return or power amp in jacks are the quickest and easiest to check and eliminate first. Others would be loose jack and/or pot hardware. After these bad/failed solder joints are common and could be consistant with a warmed up fault.
