Anniversary and birthday gift

Thanks! I'm looking forward to it. The amp is way past my abilities / knowledge but it gives me something to work towards .

It takes time to figure out how to dial in a good tone on a new amp. All the extras are icing on the cake. The headphone out and aux in a nice features.

I find that raising the amp closer to ear level helps at lot in monitoring. It also allows you to play at a lower level.

There isn't really anything about this amp that is "past [your] abilities / knowledge" -- other than learning how to operate the specific controls on this particular amp model. Just experiment with the various settings, and use the one(s) you like best. Have fun!

congrats on your anniversary!

i used to own a bronco 40 - it's as simple or complex as you choose. you can simply use the many settings on the top of the amp or you can dig in using your computer to tweak every single thing. and btw, some of the amp sims are nice and warm, and the speaker does a great job with them.

Thank you for reframing that for me. I can turn the knobs and push the buttons. The fun part will be discovering what they all do.
