I started having dropouts in output from my Coda S4plus a little while ago.

Called Rick yesterday in the morning. He asked for the serial number of the amp, then diagnosed that the internal jumper cables might be faulty.

Less than 24 hours later, there was a FedEx package with new cables on my doorstep. I popped them in and my amp is back to optimal performance.

AI has, quite simply, the best customer service of any company I've dealt with. Customer for life here!
 
Yes, I too recently had a good experience with AI's customer service. My Focus 2 Series III had started hissing intermittently and occasionally making weird reverb sounds, even with the effects circuit turned off on both channels.

Rick first suggested that I clean all switches and pots with DeOxit, and when that failed to do the job, that I open up the amp and do the same to the ribbon cable connecting the preamp section to the amp section. When that failed to solve the problem, Rick had me send the amp to him. He determined that the effects circuit was faulty and replaced the preamp section. Problem solved at the cost of shipping. I plan to keep this amp for a long time.

I used to own one of the first generation Codas. Years of heavy use resulted in some structural problems. (broken handle , speaker grill, and feet) The warranty period had expired years previously, but Rick replaced all the broken parts and even installed a better speaker in that amp. And, like you, all it cost me was the postage to get it to him.
